UPDATE: Ubisoft has said that the list of games taken offline was mistakenly updated last week with titles that are not yet offline, and it has now been updated to reflect this. While certain games will only lose online services on certain platforms, for others – such as Avatar, Rainbow Six Vegas and Rainbow Six Vegas 2 – it marks an end to the ability to officially play those games online. The announcement was made on the game’s official website, which provided a list of games that “have now been shut down”, some of which appear to have been taken offline at some point in the past.
Ubisoft has officially ended online support for over 90 games.
